Undergraduate Seismic Design Competition

MCEER-sponsored teams have participated in both the National Undergraduate Seismic Design Competition and in the MCEER competition, which began in 2005. The national competition is organized by Earthquake Engineering Research Institute (EERI) Student Leadership Councils (formerly by the Pacific Earthquake Engineering Research Center Student Leadership Councils). It is sponsored by EERI, Computers & Structures, Inc., Federal Emergency Management Agency, and Degenkolb – Consulting Structural Engineer.
